Kenya Airways (KQ) has adjusted flight schedules for flights to and from Europe by approximately 1 hour.
This following the decision by the Sudanese authorities to ban flights through the country’s airspace amid ongoing unrest.
In a statement, KQ says the move will cater for the rerouting of flights.
On Saturday, Kenya Airways cancelled all flights into and out of Khartoum following reports of unrest in Sudan´s capital Khartoum.

According to BBC, fighting erupted on Saturday over a power struggle between Sudan’s army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) with a doctors’ committee reporting that at least 59 civilians have been killed.
