Rwanda aviation has opened up the Kigali international airport for the local and international travelers, this is according to the statement from Rwanda Airports Company on Thursday.
The statement further said, all travelers will be expected to carry a COVID-19 PCR test certificate, this is in line with the guidelines by the ministry of health in Rwanda to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus and protect the travelers.
Travelers will also undergo a mandatory test at the airport with results expected in less than eight hours.
All travelers have however been advised to wear face-masks and practice physical-distancing.
Temperature screening will be conducted at all airport entry and exit points.
Kigali International Airport has also installed hand sanitizers throughout the terminals for travelers use, this is in addition to enhanced cleaning measures that are Ministry of Health approved.
