Kampala Capital City Authority – KCCA in partnership with My Food Network (MFN) will host and deliver the first ever street food festival dubbed #KampalaFoodieStreet in Uganda to be held on 7th September 2019.
Kampala Foodie Street is a free event and shall be held from IPS building to Jumbo Plaza along Parliamentary Avenue in Kampala from 10:00 am to midnight along with entertainment.
The event promises to bring together lovers of Ugandan cuisine and is an opportunity to introduce Ugandan street food to the world. The event is a mirror of other street food festivals held in numerous cities around the world like Paris, Berlin, London, Manila and Brussels to name just a few.
The purpose of this event is to create a signature event of the capital to show case food as a tourist attraction for both local and international visitors to Uganda.
