Uganda Airlines has been cleared by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to begin flying. Yesterday CAA issued the Air Operators Certificate to Uganda Airlines.
The licence allows the airline to begin commercial operations. However, according to the Minister of Works and Transport, Monica Azuba, the airline will have to acquire a Foreign Operator Permits from the destination countries where they intend to fly to.
The destinations include Mogadishu, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam . It is estimated that the commercial flights might begin at the end of August.
